Good news for die-hard Berry fans. Actress Halle Berry has denied rumors she is secretly engaged to long-term beau Gabriel Aubry.

Berry sparked reports that she is planning to marry the father of her baby daughter, Nahla, after she was spotted wearing a ring on her wedding finger.

The actress was snapped at the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s Revlon Run/Walk last weekend wearing the ring which reportedly belonged to Aubry’s grandmother.

However, according to People.com, the beautiful actress purchased this jewelry as a fashion statement. A source tells the Web site, “It’s not an engagement ring. Halle bought the ring just because she felt that it was beautiful.

Berry and Aubrey have been dating since 2005.

According to the research conducted by Abbey, more than four in ten (42 per cent) of engagement rings are uninsured.g

A new study by the financial services provider also suggests that a further 16 per cent of ring owners do not know whether they have insurance or not.

Lloyd Wilson, head of Abbey Insurance, explains: “With the average engagement ring costing around £1,200, it’s important to arrange insurance immediately if you’re one of the 1.8 billion planning to propose this year.”
