Jamie and Casey get engaged
Jamie Lynn Spears is officially engaged to her baby’s father Casey Aldrige. She was sporting a T-shirt with the words “The Rumors Are True” and a diamond engagement ring on her finger that has put to rest questions about their relationship.
“Jamie Lynn and Casey are now engaged,” a close friend of the teen couple confirmed to OK! Magazine. “They’re committed to each other and want to be the best parents for their baby, and also the best husband and wife.”
The 16-year-old Spears won’t be moving from Louisiana to Los Angeles after the baby is born, a source close to Spears said. And the magazine has confirmed that the wedding will take place in Spears’ hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana. The marriage ceremony will take place at the estate of big sister Britney Spears, who will likely be a bridesmaid. Jamie Lynn won’t be rushing to the altar in the typical sense. The magazine’s source reports that she’ll wait to regain her shape before exchanging her marriage vows. She wants to get her figure back before her dream wedding. Casey will surely gift her one of the most precious diamond wedding rings.
